Basketball Betting Rules

The wagering options (bet types) offered by Bet4Win Sportsbook for basketball betting, are as follows:

• Moneyline, spread betting and game totals for the entire game;
• Moneyline, spread betting and game totals for each individual half;
• Moneyline, spread betting and game totals for each individual quarter;
• Point buying (teaser);
• Proposition bets (props).

General Basketball Betting Rules

1. NCAA College and WNBA basketball games must go at least 35 minutes to have action.
2. NBA basketball games must go at least 43 minutes to have action.
3. For wagering purposes, winners and losers are determined by the final score (including overtime), provided that the game has gone the minimum time as specified above. If a game is suspended after the minimum time has been played and not resumed the same day, then regardless of whether the game is completed at a later date, the score when the game is halted will determine the betting results.
4. If play is suspended before the minimum time has been reached and not resumed the same day, all bets will be scored as 'no action' and all monies refunded.
5. Unless noted before a contest, all events must be played on the scheduled date and at the scheduled site to have action.

We reserve the right to suspend any or all betting on a game at any time without notice. This may happen for example if a key player is not in the starting line-up for any reason.

Point Spread Betting. For settlement purposes overtime counts.

Game Totals Betting. For settlement purposes overtime counts.

Money Line Betting. For settlement purposes overtime counts.

1st Half Betting. The 1st half must be completed for bets to have action.

2nd Half Betting. The 2nd half is considered official for wagering purposes if the game goes 43 minutes or longer. Second half wagering does include all overtime scoring.

Quarter Betting. The relevant quarter must be completed for bets to have action. The 4th quarter excludes overtime.

Player Match-ups (Performance Props). With Bet4Win Online Sportsbook, performance props wagering is available on the performance of a named player in a variety of achievements e.g. points, rebounds, assists, blocks, free throws. Push rules apply.

Relevant players must be 'dressed', and see court-time, for bets to have action. Overtime counts for any player props, unless specified otherwise

Individual players' performances are matched for betting purposes in a player match-up. Handicaps may be used, and are applied to each player's actual score to determine the result. Push rules apply.

Game must be official for quantitative player match-ups (i.e. total points, most fouls, most assists, etc) to have action.

For specifically named props (i.e. player to score first, to commit first foul, to make first 3 pointers, etc.) wagers are valid once the achievement has been made.
