The purpose of the Betting Rules presented below, is to detail the terms and conditions under which wagers are accepted by our online service at Bet4Win Betting Site. They include the details of how wagers are settled by Bet4Win Online Sportsbook, the types of wagers available and the events on which wagers are accepted. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are familiar with these rules or the terms of a particular wager.
Any amendments to these rules will be published on our website. Changes will be notified by email to customers wherever possible, but it remains the responsibility of the customer to ensure that they are aware of the correct, current rules.
Bet4Win Online Sportsbook only accepts wagers made online at Bet4Win.com. Wagers are not accepted in any other form (phone, post, email, fax, etc.) and where received will be void, win or lose.
It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure details of their wagers are correct. Once wagers have been placed and their acceptance confirmed they may not be cancelled or changed by the Customer.
A wager is not considered valid until a transaction code (ticket number) is issued. The transaction code, bet type, bet details, wagered sum and potential win sum will appear on the screen along with the "Accepted" label. If you are unsure about the validity of a wager please check your open wagers ("My Betting History"), or contact our Customer Care Department.
All odds, lines and handicaps are subject to fluctuation, and become fixed only at the time of wager acceptance. In case a programming error in our betting system results in an incorrect price, line or handicap taken in a wager or parlay, the wager/parlay will be void.
Wagering Limits. Minimum wager amount is $10 for a Straight Bet, $1 for Parlay, and $1 for a Teaser. Maximum wager amounts are determined by Bet4Win Company and are subject to change without prior written notice. Please see a detailed chart of Bet4Win Sportsbook Wagering Limits. Bet4Win Company also reserves the right to adjust limits on individual accounts as well.
Bet4Win Company reserves the right to suspend a market at anytime. When a market is suspended any wagers entered will be rejected.
Bet4Win retains the right to refuse accepting wagers made for inter-dependent results. Bet4Win may at any time refuse a bet or betting combination either upon reception or in post factum.
Bet4Win will refuse bets should it have reasonable grounds to suspect that the games are sold, or whenever Bet4Win shall suspect that the players, organizers or gamblers act in mala fide.
Multiple bets are not accepted where the outcome of one part of the bet contributes to the outcome of another. If such a wager is taken in error it will be settled as two single wagers with the wagered amount equally divided.
Bet4Win reserves the right to cancel any wager made on an obviously "bad" line or a wager made after an event has started.
Legality and Prohibitions
Placing bets by anyone under the age of 21 years is prohibited. Bet4Win Online Betting Site retains right to void any transactions with minors.
Access to or betting on the web site may not be legal for some or all residents of or persons present in certain countries. These countries include, but are not limited to, the United States of America.
Bet4Win Company can accept no responsibility under the law in any jurisdiction other than Costa Rica.
Time of Acceptance
All bets must be made and accepted before the start of the game/event wagered. Any wager, which is accepted later than the advertised time of the event, will be void unless we are satisfied that the wager was accepted before the actual 'Off'. The only exception is live betting, when one can make wagers after the match starts. You can see live events status at the start stage of Bet4Win Betting Site. Live events bets are considered to be valid if they were made before the end of the match.
The bets are accepted in accordance to the current line, a list of events with the fixed odds and winning coefficients being established by Bet4Win Online Sportsbook. The odds can be changed by Bet4Win after the bets, but conditions of bets will be put intact already. Clients should check for all the odds changes before making a wager.
If a wager has been received after the deadline, Bet4Win Online Sportsbook may refuse the wager, cancel it or approve it, upon transfer or in post factum, and by its exclusive discretion.
Unless noted before a contest, all events must be played on the scheduled date and at the scheduled site to have action. System clock is based on GMT + 02.
In the event of there being a dispute over the time at which a bet was placed, then the time at which it was recorded on the Transactional log will govern the settlement.
Results
Results of sporting events will be as per the podium position or adjudication of the official governing body unless otherwise stated.
The winner of an event will be determined on the date of the event's conclusion; Bet4Win does not recognize protested or overturned decisions for wagering purposes.
Winners and losers are official for wagering purposes after:
Football - NCAA & NFL - 55 minutes of play.
Basketball - NBA - 43 minutes of play.
Basketball - NCAA - 35 minutes of play.
Hockey - NHL - 55 minutes of play.
Boxing - after the bell has sounded to start first round.
All other sporting events - 55 minutes of play.
Overtime periods, quarters or extra innings are counted in the final score when wagering on totals, money line and spread betting.
On half time wagers, overtime periods are included as part of the 2nd half.
Other Sports: All other contests that involve a scheduled length of play or time limit must play to their conclusion or have five minutes or less of the scheduled playing time remaining when the contest concludes to be considered official for wagering purposes.
In the case of golf a playoff shall count in determining the final result.

If play is suspended before the minimum time has been reached and not resumed the same day, all bets will be scored as 'no action' and all monies refunded.
If a game is suspended after the minimum time has been played and not resumed the same day, then regardless of whether the game is completed at a later date, the score when the game is halted will determine the betting results.
Wagers are graded only after the contest is final. Has no final result been made public within 24 hours, all chances in the relevant game shall be converted to 1.00.
In all futures wagering (for example, total season wins, Super Bowl winner, etc.), the winner as determined by the League Commissioner will also be declared the winner for betting purposes except when the minimum number of games required for the future to have 'action' has not been completed.
In any case of an equivocal result (absence of result, it's erroneous, or in case of an appeal against it) Bet4Win will suspend money transfer.
